If you’ve listened to at least a few of my podcast episodes, you already know that one of my goals is to provide valuable insights to our customers.
With that in mind, here is a quick MYTH BUSTERS take on a few important points of the Florida Real Estate process.
MYTH: Many home buyers and sellers are under the impression that a Florida Real Estate Agent can only represent the transaction. Are they correct?
BUSTED: They are not correct. At Slice Of Florida Realty you have the option to be represented as our client.
MYTH: Many home buyers wonder why a seller never has to make repairs as part of the contract. Is it possible to negotiate a contract that forces the seller to make repairs?
BUSTED: Yes it is absolutely possible. At Slice Of Florida Realty we have successfully negotiated a large percentage of our buyer’s contracts to include repairs made by the seller prior to closing.
MYTH: Why is it that buyers can always change their mind for any reason, get their full deposit back, and there is nothing a seller can do about it?
BUSTED: That is only because the seller accepted a sub-standard contract. The contract I refer to is used in MOST Florida Real Estate Transactions that are negotiated by other agencies. At Slice Of Florida Realty we have successfully negotiated a large percentage of our seller’s contracts to put the seller in control of whether or not a buyer can back out of the contract and retain their deposit.
MYTH: It doesn’t really matter what real estate agent I use since all real estate agents have access to the same tools and will provide the same level of service as their peers.
BUSTED: The combination of your agent and the broker they hold their license with can make all the difference in the results you will experience throughout the entire process.
